About Us
Our Mission:
The mission of the McLoughlin Memorial Association is to assist in the promotion of Dr. John McLoughlin and his associates through education, interpretation, preservation, respect, and appreciation of our heritage.
For over a century, the McLoughlin Memorial Association has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Oregon City. Today, we steward two historic homes on the Rose Farm property and collaborate with the National Park Service to protect and interpret the McLoughlin House and Barclay House.
Through guided tours and educational programs, we bring history to life, offering visitors an opportunity to connect with the stories and legacy of these historic sites. Our mission is to honor the past while inspiring future generations to appreciate the heritage of Oregon City.
