We will welcome Laura King (formerly of the Northwest Rose Historians), who will speak about heritage and pioneer roses.
The Holmes property features several notable rose plantings along the frontage, including the Bernice West Memorial Rose Bed, which contains contemporary varieties, and the Heritage Bed, which showcases heirloom roses.
One of the prized heirloom roses on site is the Cécile Brünner. Handouts will be available for guests to take home.
